As promised I’ve added a new sci-fi short story today, Anti Deja Vu.
I’m six years old and trapped in the wreck of our car, my mother dying beside me. Dad is on the other end of the mobile I somehow hung onto telling me that everything will be all right. That he will fix everything. How can he possibly fix this?
And then something amazing happens…
Check out the story right here… Anti Deja Vu
And, if you haven’t already, take a look at my other free story… The Wedding Weatherman
As if that wasn’t enough there’s more news about my short stories. I intend to publish several more here over the next few months so keep your eyes peeled. One or two will be from Last Sunrise & Other Stories, others will be new.
More news about short stories I hear you shout? OK – the last announcement is that I intend to release at least some of the short stories published on this site (in pdf format) perma-free on Smashwords, making it much easier to get them and read them where you want.
I may do the same through Amazon, but only if they change their policies. There is no official way to make books perma-free at the moment (though there are a few hacky workarounds that I’d rather avoid).
