The last few weeks have been very productive. My first novel, Wanderer’s Escape, has been through its first proof reading by Sue. The feedback on the story is very positive, though naturally there’s plenty of work still to do. Sue’s contribution made the stories in Last Sunrise & Other Stories far better so I’m looking forward to seeing her comments.
The second novel is progressing and is well over halfway written now. The beginning of the book is the short story Last Sunrise, after that the tale continues and the world starts to be revealed in more detail.
As if that wasn’t enough I’ve written three new short stories as well. One is called “The Disappearance of Jimmy Trent” and deals with a story, set in the present day, of a man searching for his missing nephew. On entering a small village pub he soon learns that his nephew passed through, and is told an unbelievable story of what his nephew risked facing.
Finally – I promised some time ago that the short story “The Wedding Weatherman” would be available for free for a period of time on this site. It still needs to go through final polishing and then I need to work out the appropriate formats (to be decided). I intend, life allowing, to get this in place well before Christmas.
