Wanderer – Echoes of the Past Passes Ten Thousand Sales

Wanderer - Echoes of the Past - Cover 1

Wanderer – Echoes of the Past, the second book in the Wanderer series, has just passed ten thousand sales. That’s a really impressive number in itself, and it makes it my best selling book – Wanderer’s Escape has had far more downloads but almost all of those have been while it was free. Wanderer – Tainted Universe is a respectable second with over seven and a half thousand sales so far.

So, it’s really impressive at a first glance, but when I stopped to think about it in more detail the number really hit home. Over ten thousand people have bought the second book in the Wanderer series. With a few exceptions I imagine that almost all of them did so having read Wanderer’s Escape, so that means there ten thousand people who liked my first can you buy doxycycline online novel so much that they went and bought the next in the series.

Ten thousand people. I’m sorry… I have to keep saying the number and hoping it will sink in. A thousand people I can picture, my secondary school had that many and we had some occasional full-school assemblies where we were packed into the sports hall. Ten times that number? It makes me dizzy.

So if you’re one of those ten thousand, and I guess almost anyone reading this post will be, thank you so much for your vote of confidence and your support. You’ve helped make me one very, very happy author.  And if you don’t have Wanderer – Echoes of the Past yet, why not grab your free copy as part of my starter library…

Well, I’m trying to say congrats, and that I’m jealous because I’d be happy if all my books sold just a thousand … but your verification thingy keeps telling me I’m not a human. Let’s try one more time.

Thanks Mark – it’s taken a lot of hard work but a lot more blind luck!

When in 2016 is the fifth Wanderer book coming out? I just read the first four in the past five days. I just love them. I hated going to sleep at night because I didn’t want to put the books down

      Hi Jennifer,

That’s amazing – I’ve read books like that, but knowing my books have that effect… it gives me chills. 🙂

At the moment I don’t have a fixed date. I’m probably just over a third of the way through writing and there’s a few months from finishing the first draft to it being published, so we’re probably looking sometime between August and December though as it’s the last book in the series it could turn out to be longer which would push the dates back.

You can keep up to date via the blog, and the progress link gives the latest info.

      Simon
