I’ve now transcribed everything I’ve dictated so far (60,000 words) and worked all the new strands into a full plot overview. For now this is on the backburner.

This is now my main focus. I’ve already transcribed around 22,000 words, and hope to make really good progress through the rest of this month.

The Heatwave
Forty degrees Celsius (over 100 Fahrenheit) in houses with no aircon and designed to keep heat in was… interesting! We’re back to more normal summer temperatures now.
These updates cover where things are rather than giving predictions of when books will be published (unless they are almost ready).
That’s partly because my estimates have always proven to be wrong (much too optimistic or much too pessimistic) and partly because I’ve found it sets up deadline-pressure which actually slows me down a lot and leads to delays.
